A self-inflicted Garoppolo safety in the third quarter made it 7-5, 49ers. In a game where the Broncos had eight three-and-outs, including four series where the offense couldn't pick up more than a yard, the defense continually held Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers in check. They somehow beat the 49ers 11-10 on "Sunday Night Football" with some late-game heroics by Russell Wilson.
